Energy Access

  • Off-Grid Electrification: Under the Off-grid Energization Master Plan (OGEMP), we are electrifying schools, police stations, and clinics in remote areas using containerized solar PV systems.
  • Project Impact: Since 2013, we have successfully deployed 23 containerized PV systems across three regions: Omusati, Kunene, and Otjozondjupa.

Promoting Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

  • Foster a culture of energy consciousness: Encourage responsible energy consumption among Namibians.
  • Improve the framework for renewable energy technologies: Create a supportive environment for the growth of the renewable energy sector.
  • Facilitate dialogue and collaboration: Promote the advancement of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies through stakeholder engagement.
