Directorate of Diamonds: Safeguarding Namibia’s Precious Gem

The Directorate of Diamond Affairs is the cornerstone of Namibia’s diamond industry, dedicated to protecting its integrity and maximizing its contribution to the nation’s socio-economic development. Our primary function is to regulate and monitor diamond exploration, mining, and trading activities to ensure the country benefits fully from its most valuable natural resource.

Regional Presence

  • To provide efficient services to our clients, the Directorate of Diamond Affairs has regional offices located in Swakopmund, Luderitz, and Oranjemund, serving the Erongo and Karas regions.
