EMPRETEC Namibia Programme

EMPRETEC Namibia is a collaboration between the Government of Namibia and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). This initiative aims to unlock the growth potential of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Namibia. By offering competency-based training and a full suite of business advisory services, the program helps entrepreneurs transform their mindsets and develop the skills needed for success.

Launched on October 16, 2019, EMPRETEC Namibia operates under the global framework of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

  • Boost Competitiveness: Improve the operational efficiency and competitiveness of MSMEs and help companies diversify into new product areas.
  • Facilitate Financing: Assist businesses in creating “bankable” project plans for new ventures or expansions and help them negotiate for financing.
