The Namibian Committee for Stratigraphy (NACS) is a newly formed committee that will promote and maintain common standards in Namibian stratigraphic nomenclature. The creation of NACS will facilitate coordination and cooperation in stratigraphy within the country. The committee comprises Namibian and international experts from various countries. Various disciplines of geology of which the secretariat is hosted by GSN.
